Altex Paint on the Commemorative 50th Anniversary Trailer SailerNo matter how good the build it's the quality of the paint that is not only seen first but is also the first line of defence against the elements. Its a make or break component of any boat and we certainly needed to get this right for a little yacht being built to celebrate 50 years of the trailer sailer in Australia.I am very genuinely impressed with how things turned out using Altex paints. Take a look at the last image on our Construction - Painting the Hull section, and keep in mind that is a photo of the reflection on a dry surface, the paint is not wet. It blows me away.Despite some of the fastest yachts in the world being coated with Altex coating and paint products, their range is just as at home protecting all types and sizes of ordinary pleasure craft such as small yachts like trailer sailers, dinghys, runabouts and sleek power boats. If you are building a boat, reconditioning one or just want to re-paint your pride and joy and you want an absolutely superb level of protection and finish and all achievable at a reasonable cost then I highly recommend taking a good look at the Altex range.
